Why March First Membership?
Creative Leadership is a daily practice
Creative leadership has been misunderstood for too long.
It has been reduced to disruption, personal brand, and individual achievement. But the most pressing challenges of our time—cultural, organisational, environmental—require a different kind of leader.
One who listens deeply, makes meaning from complexity, and leads with both creativity and conviction.
March First was founded as a community of practice that works together to these kind of leaders through a sustained community of practice, where members learn from one another's lived and living experience, knowledge and wisdom.
The Monthly Circle
The Mentorship Circle Meetings offer members a monthly space to pause, listen, and reflect together. It is designed as a light‑touch gathering that prioritises presence over the pressure to contribute and perform.
Each Monthly Circle is shaped around a single prompt and facilitated to create psychological safety, allowing members to engage in ways that feel right to them.
This is an exclusive, members-only event.

Frequency: First Friday of each month
Dialogues
Quarterly Leadership Dialogues bring members and non-members into live, facilitated conversations with invited guests. These sessions are designed as shared inquiries creating space to explore tension, creative confidence, responsibility, and different experiences.
The emphasis is on deep listening, thoughtful exchange, and reflection allowing multiple perspectives to exist as a guide for learning.
This is a paid event for non-members.

The Library
The Library invites members into considered views of real‑world events, cultural moments, and decision-making.
Briefings, tools and reading guides are designed to focs you on context, responsibility, and reflection allowing you to put your learning into action.
The library is co-created by the community, documenting a range of thinking models, creative hacks, leadership practices and reading lists for members to build creative leadership confidence.

Members will actively contribute to shaping the March First curriculum, events and tools.
Through active collaboration with members, we will endeavour to co-create initiatives and experiences that provide every participant an opportunity to build on their creative leadership practice.
